Quality Engineer (Entry Level / Fresh Grads Welcome) $2.8K - $3.4K / Benefits: AWS + Transport + Medical / Near Tuas MRT

Key Duties

• Review and sign off material certificates, certificates of conformance, and test reports
• Liaise with suppliers and customers on material certificate matters
• Support the Quality Manager and Quality Engineers with quality administration
• Assist in implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (ISO 9001)
• Coordinate Third Party Inspection (TPI) activities according to project schedules
• Ensure calibrated measuring equipment is used and the calibration log is updated
• Maintain QMS documents, work instructions, procedures, and forms at latest revision
• Update customer specs and international standard specs; source latest revisions
• Compile quality dossiers and check completeness before submission to customers
• Support process studies to improve efficiency, manpower savings, and work methods
• Maintain employee training records and dispose of quality records per retention policy
• Support departmental KPIs, 5S, Safety, Quality, and Code of Business Conduct
• Participate in Total Quality Management and Lean Manufacturing programmes

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering
• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, Quality Management System, and Quality Control
• Familiar with measuring devices and inspection tools (an advantage)
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation
• Meticulous, organised, and comfortable handling technical documentation
• Able to complete required training per Employee Qualification and OJT programme
