Outreach & Development Executive

We are looking for a motivated and creative Outreach & Development Executive to join our team. This role will support our outreach, fundraising and donor engagement efforts, with a strong focus on social media and creative content, student fundraising, and in-kind donations.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media & Content

• Create engaging content for our social media platforms, including posts, stories, reels, and captions.
• Develop creative materials for fundraising campaigns, events, and outreach initiatives.
• Manage and maintain the social media content calendar.
• Work with internal teams to identify stories and activities for social media and other communication channels.
• Support the development of marketing and fundraising collaterals.

Student Fundraising

• Coordinate and support student fundraising initiatives and campaigns.
• Liaise with schools, teachers and students on fundraising activities.
• Track fundraising activities, participation and funds raised.
• Support students throughout their fundraising journey and encourage meaningful engagement with our cause.

Donor & Partner Engagement

• Liaise with donors and corporate partners on in-kind donations, including food, groceries, educational materials, and other items.
• Coordinate the collection, delivery and distribution of donated items with internal teams.
• Maintain accurate records of in-kind donations and donor information.
• Follow up with donors and partners on donation arrangements and requirements.
• Prepare thank-you messages, acknowledgements and other donor communications.

Outreach& Development Support

• Support fundraising campaigns, outreach activities, events and donor engagement initiatives.
• Assist with the preparation of presentations, proposals, and other communication materials.
• Provide administrative and coordination support to the Outreach & Development team.
• Undertake other related duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Communications, Marketing, Mass Communications, Public Relations, Business or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in social media, marketing, communications, fundraising, partnerships or outreach.
• Experience working in a non-profit or social service organisation would be an advantage.
• Strong interest and experience in social media content creation and creative communications.
• Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator) is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational and coordination skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable communicating and building relationships with corporate partners, donors, schools, students and other stakeholders.
• Proactive, creative, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• Passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children and youths.
