Shipping Coordinator (5-Day work)

We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are keen to build a career in the shipping, logistics and freight forwarding industry.

Fresh graduates and candidates without prior shipping experience are welcome to apply. On-the-job training will be provided.

Job Requirements

• Familiarize with company’s Quality Management System and ensure it’s effective application.
• Attend to enquiries on cargo acceptance, door delivery quotations and shipment-related matters.
• Follow up on routing orders from nominated agents.
• Perform data entry and arrange cargo transfers to the warehouse for co-load bookings.
• Provide updated nomination tariffs to POD agents.
• Handle billing for door delivery shipments and other nomination-related charges.
• Attend to enquiries on cargo transshipment status and other transshipment-related matters.
• Provided updated transshipment tariffs to POL agents.
• Assist in resolving shipment-related issues and disputes with agents.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in any discipline.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with no prior shipping/freight forwarding experience are welcome to apply.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Meticulous with an eye for detail.
• Positive working attitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable with data entry and documentation.
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel.
