Indirect Procurement Specialist (AI Infrastructure)

About the Company
Our client is a next-generation AI infrastructure provider building the compute backbone for AI applications, with a growing footprint across Singapore and Southeast Asia. As the company scales its team and office presence, it needs someone to build out and run procurement for everything that keeps the business operating day to day.

The Role
Not a siloed category role — you'll be the go-to procurement partner across Engineering, IT, HR, and Admin, balancing startup speed with procurement discipline across the company's full indirect spend.

What You'll Own

• Engineering & Facilities — office fit-outs, FM, lab/engineering equipment, workplace safety
• IT & SaaS — hardware procurement, full-lifecycle SaaS management (AWS/Azure, productivity, security tools), license optimization
• HR & Benefits — corporate insurance, wellness programs, recruitment agency contracts
• Corporate Services — legal, tax, marketing/PR, T&E

Also On Your Plate

• Support consolidation of fragmented spend across departments for better leverage
• Run RFQ/RFP processes, from market mapping to negotiation, with guidance from senior stakeholders on larger deals
• Support drafting and negotiation of MSAs/SOWs with Legal
• Help build out a startup-friendly procurement policy and P2P system as the company scales
• Track vendor performance against KPIs

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years in Indirect Procurement, ideally at a fast-growing tech company or scale-up
• Solid grasp of the Singapore vendor landscape (IT distributors, FM contractors, insurance brokers)
• Comfortable switching between engineering-technical and HR/benefits conversations
• A confident negotiator with a lean-cost mindset and a relationship-building approach
• Mandarin proficiency an advantage, given the role involves coordinating with Mandarin-speaking vendors/business partners
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or related; CIPS a plus
• Eager to grow into a broader ownership role as the procurement function scales
