Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous and driven Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will support QS operations, ensuring accurate cost management and project profitability.

Responsibilities

• Attend client briefings to understand project tender scope and requirements
• Using Link and software to tender project
• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BQ) for project tenders to support accurate bidding
• Develop precise cost estimates for commercial and retail projects to guide budgeting
• Administer costing data accurately in Netsuite to maintain financial integrity
• Meet tender submission deadlines to ensure timely project bidding
• Coordinate with Projects Team and Designers to resolve costing issues and align project budgets
• Verify subcontractor claims to ensure accuracy and prevent cost overruns
• Maintain accurate records of Project Variation Orders (VOs) to track project changes and costs
• Provide aftersales service quotations to clients to support ongoing project needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Civil, or Structural Engineering
• Analytical skills with strong attention to detail to ensure precise cost control
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to facilitate stakeholder engagement
• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1 year of experience in retail renovation or interior fit-out are encouraged to apply
