Senior Operations Manager $9K - $12K + VB / Own Vehicle / 5.5 Days (West Area)

Role Summary

· Lead the full operations of a Wastewater Treatment and Waste Management Facility

· You will own P&L, regulatory compliance, safety, and team performance across collection, treatment, recycling and disposal

Key Duties

• Oversee day-to-day; drive efficient waste collection, transportation, processing and disposal procedures
• Develop long-term strategic plans, policies and SOPs for waste and recycling operations
• Identify growth, cost-reduction and revenue-generation opportunities
• Set and monitor KPIs to track operational and financial performance
• Manage budgets, control expenses and optimise resource allocation
• Prepare financial reports and forecasts for senior management
• Ensure full compliance with NEA and PUB environmental regulations
• Implement best practices in waste reduction, recycling and sustainability
• Promote a safety-first culture and enforce WSH protocols on site
• Conduct regular inspections, audits and quality control checks
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Lead and develop department heads across operations, sales and customer service
• Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations
• Handle customer enquiries, concerns and feedback promptly and professionally
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related field (Master's preferred)
• Minimum 5 years' experience; at least 2 years in a Managerial or Leadership role
• Relevant industry background is mandatory (Waste Management / WWTP / Environmental Services)
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, waste disposal methods and recycling practices
• Proficient in budgeting, cost control and financial management
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and decision-making ability in a fast-changing environment
• Certification in Waste Management or a related field is advantageous
