About the Role

We are seeking a Senior CRM Developer to design, develop, and support mission-critical Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Order Management (OM) platforms that drive customer onboarding, sales journeys, fulfilment, and billing operations.

This role will be responsible for delivering scalable, resilient, and high-performing CRM solutions while ensuring operational excellence through DevOps practices, automation, observability, and continuous delivery. Senior candidates will have opportunities to lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and drive engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development & Integration

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services supporting Customer Management, Product Catalogue, Campaigns, Order Management, and Revenue/Billing integration.

  • Build and enhance workflow-driven processes for end-to-end order lifecycle orchestration, including validation, provisioning, and billing setup.

  • Develop secure and scalable REST APIs for integration with billing, provisioning systems, digital channels, and third-party applications.

  • Ensure API reliability, versioning, and backward compatibility across services.

  • Design and implement microservices-based solutions to support evolving business requirements.

Database & Performance Management

  • Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures in PostgreSQL and/or Oracle environments.

  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and performance across customer, order, provisioning, and billing domains.

  • Support database performance tuning and optimization initiatives.

Platform Reliability & DevOps

  • Operate and maintain applications running on Kubernetes and cloud platforms, preferably AWS.

  • Participate in production support, incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis (RCA).

  • Implement preventive measures and continuous improvements to reduce recurring production issues.

  • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline enhancements, release automation, and deployment governance.

  • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting using tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.

Engineering Excellence

  • Prepare technical design documents, architecture specifications, and integration documentation.

  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and engineering best practice initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, QA, DevOps teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.

  • Lead-level candidates will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and guide system design and production readiness activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • 4–10 years of software engineering experience within CRM, BSS/OSS, Order Management, Billing, or large-scale enterprise environments.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.

  • Solid SQL expertise in PostgreSQL and/or Oracle, including query optimization and performance tuning.

  • Experience working with Kubernetes-based platforms and cloud environments, preferably AWS.

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and production support environments.

  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams.

  • Exposure to workflow orchestration engines and workflow-driven systems.

  • Experience within telecommunications, CRM, billing, customer management, or order management domains will be highly advantageous.

Preferred Certifications

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)

  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

  • Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
