Warehouse Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Operations & Workflow Management: Oversee all inbound receiving, putaway, picking, packing, and outbound shipping activities to meet daily throughput targets and delivery SLAs.

• Inventory Control: Lead cycle counts, audit stock levels, investigate inventory discrepancies, and reconcile actual stock with system records to maintain >99% inventory accuracy.

• Team Leadership & Staffing: Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate warehouse personnel; manage labor allocations and overtime to match daily operational demands.

• Systems & Process Optimization: Leverage WMS data to optimize facility layout, streamline picking routes, eliminate bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement methodologies (Lean/5S).

• Vendor & Carrier Coordination: Work closely with logistics carriers, transport suppliers, customer service, and procurement teams to maintain smooth inbound/outbound schedules.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 3–5+ years in warehouse management, fulfillment center operations, or logistics supervision.

• Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Blue Yonder, Manhattan) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Soft Skills: Leadership, problem-solving under pressure, clear communication, and workload prioritizing.

• Physical Demands: Ability to stand/walk for extended periods, work in varying temperatures, and lift up to 50 lbs as needed
