Copier Technician

Job Summary

You will maintain and repair copier machines and printers, conduct quality inspections and product testing, provide technical advice, and resolve customer complaints to ensure product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Repair and service various brands of copier machines and printers to ensure operational functionality
• Conduct quality inspections on stock upon arrival to verify product standards
• Perform product testing on copier machines and printers using provided samples to assess performance
• Provide technical advice and detailed reports on the quality of samples and products to support decision-making
• Resolve customer complaints related to faulty products at customer premises to maintain service quality
• File and maintain records of samples sent for testing and faulty items for tracking and reference
• Collaborate with team members to complete additional tasks as assigned

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience servicing Ricoh, Canon, Toshiba, Konica Minolta, Xerox, and Kyocera copier/printers is advantageous
• Familiarity with copier/printer software applications, including installation and testing of network connectivity on site
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience repairing copier machines
