Job Summary
We seek a dynamic Finance & HR Executive/Assistant to deliver comprehensive support in finance, accounting, HR, and compliance across Singapore and Malaysia entities, driving financial discipline, regulatory adherence, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage full sets of accounts for Singapore and Malaysia entities to ensure accurate financial records
- Oversee monthly financial closing and prepare timely management accounts for informed decision-making
- Monitor cash flow and working capital to maintain financial stability
- Review financial reports from branch offices to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Coordinate and execute ad-hoc finance projects to support business needs
- Review supplier invoices and payment schedules to ensure timely payments
- Monitor receivables and lead collection activities to optimize cash inflows
- Process financial transactions accurately and promptly to maintain up-to-date records
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and corporate secretaries to facilitate audits and compliance
- Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation to meet regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards and statutory obligations
- Manage GST submissions and corporate tax matters to fulfill tax responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements including ACRA, IRAS, CPF (Singapore), KWSP, Perkeso, LHDN, and SSM (Malaysia)
- Manage payroll processing for Singapore and Malaysia entities ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain HR reports, employee records, and documentation to support HR operations
- Administer employee benefits, leave, and attendance records to ensure compliance and employee satisfaction
- Coordinate recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and reference checks to support talent acquisition
- Respond to employee enquiries and provide HR support and guidance to foster positive employee relations
- Assist in resolving employee issues and grievances to maintain a professional workplace culture
- Manage all MOM work pass applications, renewals, transfers, and cancellations to ensure legal compliance
- Stay updated on employment laws and regulatory changes in Singapore and Malaysia to maintain compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, employment regulations, and statutory requirements across HR functions
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Diploma or above in related disciplines preferred
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in full-set accounting and HR administration
Experience handling both Singapore and Malaysia entities is an advantage
Experience with payroll processing and statutory compliance
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience with ERP/accounting systems; Navision experience is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills applied to finance and HR tasks
Excellent organisational and time management abilities to manage multiple priorities
Effective interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across teams
Ability to work independently with a proactive and positive attitude
