Healthcare Assistant

To provide basic healthcare to residents under the guidance of registered nurse.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

· Encourage residents to maintain their independence in activities of daily living.

· Assist to prepare and serve meals to the residents

· Assist to serve pre-packed medication to residents in accordance with the organisation’s medication policy and established procedures.

· Assist in organising and conducting recreational and social activities.

· Encourage residents to participate in suitable activities, including exercise, games, puzzles and other group activities.

· To carry out weekly simple clinical tasks e.g. weighing of residents and vital parameter taking

· Ensure working environment is clean and perform routine housekeeping as and when required.

· Assist with administrative support work when assigned

· Keep and check inventory as and when required

· Any other duties as assigned and instructed by superiors

Requirements

· Candidate must possess at least Primary/Secondary School/"O" Level, Higher secondary/Pre-U/A level/College, Professional Certificate/NiTEC in any field.

· At least 1 Year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

2 rotating shifts, 4 days work week
