Brahm Centre is a registered mental health charity dedicated to promoting happier and healthier living through holistic programs. We empower individuals to create their own happiness. We are a full member of the National Council of Social Services (NCSS) and an Institution of Public Character (IPC). We offer science-based mindfulness programs to enhance mental well-being.
We have a care management team supported by trained volunteers. Working with the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), the Ministry of Health (MOH) and healthcare and educational institutions, we support the community through health education, case management, counselling services and outreach. We offer wellness programs and art courses designed to enhance overall well-being.
Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Counsellor to provide counselling and case management support to individuals facing emotional, psychological and mental health challenges. The role involves conducting assessments, developing intervention plans and providing therapeutic support, while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic and client-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide counselling services to individuals experiencing emotional distress, stress, anxiety and other mental health concerns.
- Conduct client assessments, develop appropriate intervention plans and provide therapeutic interventions to support clients in managing emotional and psychological challenges.
- Provide case management support to complement care plans and monitor clients’ progress.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community partners to provide holistic and coordinated support.
- Maintain accurate and timely client records and documentation in accordance with organisational requirements.
- Adhere to professional and ethical counselling practices, including maintaining client confidentiality.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline.
- Relevant counselling or case management experience in a social service, healthcare or community setting will be an advantage.
- Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Compassionate, empathetic and client-centred approach.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer applications.
