Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nurse to join our assisted living facility team, ensuring the well-being and safety of senior residents through assessment, care planning, medication management, activity coordination, and staff training.

Responsibilities

• Assess prospective residents’ medical and care needs to determine admission suitability
• Develop individualized care plans and collaborate with care staff to monitor vital signs, dietary intake, and early warning signs for timely intervention
• Communicate regularly with residents’ families to update on care progress and address concerns
• Prepare and administer medications accurately, ensuring adherence to medication protocols
• Plan and organize weekly individual and group activities to enhance seniors’ motor, cognitive, and reasoning skills
• Conduct training sessions for care staff on senior care best practices and protocols
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain documentation to ensure regulatory compliance

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in geriatric care preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for enhancing the lives of seniors
