Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Building & Construction
• Position Title: Quantity Surveyor
• Working Location: Islandwide
• Working Hours: 5.5 days (Monday – Friday 8AM – 5PM, Saturday half day)
• Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $4,500 + AWS + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for construction projects based on drawings, specifications, and site requirements
• Manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.
• Coordinate and evaluate tender submissions, obtain quotations, and prepare tender documents for projects
• Monitor project costs, track variations, and provide regular cost reports to ensure projects remain within budget
• Prepare and process interim valuations, progress claims, and manage payments to subcontractors and suppliers
• Measure quantities and prepare bills of quantities, schedules, and other required documentation
• Compile and present regular cost, progress, and financial reports as required by management.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or any equivalent discipline
• Minimum 1-2 years of construction experience is preferred
• Experience of civil engineering works such as road works, earthworks, drainage works are an added advantage
