Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Landscaping & Arboriculture Services
• Position Title: Accountant
• Working Location: Bukit Batok
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon to Fri: 9.00 am – 6.00pm)
• Salary Package: Basic + Variable Bonus
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts independently, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing and ensure all accounting records are accurate and completed on time.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, bank reconciliations and cash-flow reports.
• Prepare and submit GST returns and other statutory filings.
• Monitor incoming payments, outstanding receivables, supplier payments and company expenses.
• Maintain fixed-asset registers and supporting accounting schedules.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks and relevant authorities.
• Prepare audit schedules and provide the necessary documents for annual audits.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations and internal procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experienced in handling a full set of accounts independently.
• Familiar with GST submission, financial reporting and audit requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Able to work independently, manage deadlines and maintain accurate financial records.
• Good communication and coordination skills when liaising with auditors and external parties.
