Senior Stage Manager
About this job
- Oversee and manage the Stage Manager and stage crew.
Ensure that all stage productions consistently meet high standards of quality and professionalism.
Conduct weekly meetings with the stage crew, production team, and managers to troubleshoot issues, motivate the team, and identify areas for improvement.
Stay updated on the latest performances, music, and entertainment trends.
Keep up to date with the latest lighting and sound equipment, as well as stage props and related technologies.
Ensure that performance and stage personnel expenses are managed within the approved budget.
Understand and stay updated on audience preferences, expectations, and needs.
Attend monthly management meetings with shareholders.
REQUIREMENTS
The incumbent must:
Possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Possess at least 3 years of relevant experience in stage production or stage management.
Be able to work well under pressure and communicate effectively with people at all levels.
Be willing to work additional hours when required.
