Sales Engineer

A German and Singapore JV company specialising in Industrial Hardware’s is looking for a New Sales Engineer /Senior Sales Engineer to scale the next heights for the MALAYSIA MARKET. Our industries include Telecommunication, Data centre, Transportation and Industrial enclosures.

Responsibilities:

• Identify sales opportunities and develop new accounts.
• Provide quality after-sales service to customers.
• Drive sales, monitor & track; and take necessary actions to ensure that goals are met.
• Prepare sales reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing sales information.
• Help with developing sales strategy, product marketing plan and workshop/training activities.
• To attend periodically trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events.
• Maintain a sound technical / application knowledge base on all products.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on products and services.

Requirement:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in industrial electro-mechanical component sales
• Based in Malaysia remotely to provide overseas support and reporting back to the main office
• Fluent in English & Mandarin, both oral and written (to liaise with Mandarin speaking customer).
• Excellent in communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proficient with MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of SAP or ERP, preferable but not essential.
• Pro-active and must be a good team player.
• Possess Class 3 License and owns a car.
• Training will be provided.
