Assistant Engineer (QC / Field Service / Automation) $2.8K – $3.4K + Variable Bonus + Allowances / Fresh Graduates Welcome / Locations: West / East / North (near MRT)

Key Duties

• Support project execution from planning through to completion, including technical checks and progress updates
• Carry out troubleshooting and fault-finding, both in-house and at customer sites
• Prepare technical reports, service records and project documentation to a consistent standard
• Maintain technical documents, procedures and specifications at their latest revision
• Ensure measuring and test equipment is calibrated, in-date and correctly logged
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal teams to meet commitments and deadlines
• Attend team and client meetings, and present technical findings
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives — process studies, 5S, Lean Manufacturing and Total Quality Management
• Uphold Departmental KPIs, safety standards and the Code of Business Conduct

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Microelectronics, Mechanical or a related engineering discipline
• Fresh graduates are welcome — comprehensive training provided
• Meticulous and organised, with good documentation habits
• Sound problem-solving and fault-finding ability
• Clear communicator with a customer-first mindset; works well independently and in a team
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Willing to complete all required training under the Employee Qualification and OJT programme

Advantageous

• Basic knowledge of ISO 9001, Quality Management Systems or Quality Control
• Familiarity with measuring devices and inspection tools
• Working knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems
• Cleanroom or Semiconductor fab exposure
• Valid Singapore Class 3 / 3A driving license
