Job Description
We are looking for motivated and reliable individuals to join our clinic as ad-hoc Part-Time Clinic Assistants.
This role is suitable for someone who enjoys interacting with patients, is attentive to detail, and is comfortable working in a healthcare setting. You will be part of the clinic’s front-line team, helping to provide a positive patient experience while supporting smooth and efficient daily operations.
As this is an ad-hoc role, candidates with prior GP clinic experience who are able to adapt quickly to existing clinic workflows will be strongly preferred.
Orientation and training on clinic workflows and systems will be provided.
Working Period
This is an ad-hoc position, with shifts available between 15 and 22 October 2026.
Actual working days and hours will be rostered according to the operational needs of the clinic. Applicants should be able to commit to the agreed shifts during this period.
Remuneration
S$13–S$15 per hour, depending on relevant clinic experience and suitability.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome, register and guide patients through their clinic visit in a warm and professional manner
Manage appointments, phone calls, messages, billing and patient queue flow
Assist doctors during consultations and procedures when required, including chaperone duties
Prepare and dispense medications accurately in accordance with doctors’ instructions and clinic SOPs
Process CHAS, MediSave and insurance/TPA claims using clinic management platforms
Maintain stock levels, assist with inventory management and ensure consultation and treatment areas are ready for use
Uphold infection control standards and maintain cleanliness of work areas
Support general day-to-day clinic operations and work closely with other members of the clinic team
Requirements
Minimum GCE N/O-Level, Nitec, Higher Nitec or Diploma
Female applicants required, as the role includes chaperoning female patients during clinical examinations by male doctors
Prior experience working in a GP clinic is strongly preferred
Experience with patient registration, appointment management, medication dispensing, billing, CHAS, MediSave and/or insurance/TPA claims will be an advantage
Good communication skills with a patient-oriented and service-minded approach
Pleasant, professional and able to work well with patients and colleagues
Able to multitask, adapt and remain composed in a busy clinic environment
Basic computer proficiency
Able to work agreed weekday, evening and/or weekend shifts during the stated period
Willing to learn, take initiative and work as part of a team

Candidates who are familiar with GP clinic workflows and are able to work independently after orientation will be especially suited for this ad-hoc role.
