Job Responsibilities

Fire Safety Management

  • Perform statutory duties as the appointed Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM).
  • Manage Fire Certificate renewal processes and ensure compliance with relevant fire safety regulations.
  • Conduct fire risk assessments, fire safety audits and inspections.
  • Plan and lead fire emergency preparedness exercises.
  • Investigate fire incidents, false alarms and fire system failures.
  • Liaise with SCDF, Authority representatives and relevant stakeholders on fire safety matters.
  • Ensure compliance with the Fire Safety Act and SCDF requirements.

Facilities Operations

  • Support Facilities Operations Managers in managing day-to-day facilities operations and Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) services.
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance programmes.
  • Participate in maintenance planning and monitor contractor performance.
  • Support fault response, emergency recovery and operational incident management.
  • Review maintenance reports and technical submissions.
  • Coordinate statutory inspections, certifications and compliance requirements.
  • Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Support system health monitoring and equipment obsolescence reviews.
  • Assist in mobilisation, transition and asset handover activities.
  • Participate in operational meetings with Authority representatives.

Emergency & Incident Management

  • Serve as part of the emergency response leadership team.
  • Coordinate responses to fire incidents, power outages, flooding, ACMV failures and other major operational incidents.
  • Support the development and implementation of recovery plans.
  • Prepare incident reports, management updates and presentations.

Audit & Compliance

  • Support Authority audits and compliance inspections.
  • Conduct internal compliance checks and monitor corrective actions.
  • Ensure timely closure of audit findings.
  • Ensure compliance with contract specifications, statutory requirements and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in Fire Safety Management and Facilities Operations.
  • Eligible to be appointed as a Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM).
  • Good knowledge of the Fire Safety Act, SCDF requirements and statutory compliance.
  • Experience in Integrated Facilities Management (IFM), building maintenance or engineering operations will be an advantage.
  • Strong coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to respond effectively during emergencies and manage multiple operational priorities.
