Science Lab Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

Operational and Logistical Support

• Prepare Science teaching materials, apparatus and equipment for lessons and activities.
• Support teachers and students during Science lessons and practical activities.
• Assist with laboratory setup and ensure Science rooms are clean and well maintained.
• Maintain Science equipment, resources and inventory records.
• Care for outdoor Science facilities including ponds, gardens, hydroponics, aquaponics and farming systems.
• Operate and maintain food waste and farming systems.
• Assist with preparation of training materials for students, parents and staff.
• Perform administrative and other Science facility-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum PSLE English pass
• At least two years of working experience as a Science Lab Assistant in a school environment.
• Comfortable with both indoor laboratory work and outdoor Science facilities.
• Responsible, organised and able to work well with teachers and students.
• This a Contract role for One year/extendable

Others:

• Contract from Jan 2027 to 31 Dec 2027 and another one year extension
• Break for 2weeks each in June and Dec holidays will not be paying the officer.
• 5days week from Mondays to Thursdays: 7:30am to 5.00pm, Friday 7.30am to 4.30pm, inclusive of 1.0hr lunch break
