About the Role
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented professional to support a data verification and reconciliation exercise. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with data, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify fees collection records against relevant data sources to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Identify, investigate, and flag payment discrepancies for further review
- Detect records requiring corrections and escalate findings appropriately
- Document discrepancies clearly and maintain organised records of findings
- Assist in updating and correcting records in accordance with established procedures
- Support data reconciliation activities and ensure data integrity throughout the process
Requirements
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, and highly organised
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, sorting, filtering, and data validation
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in data verification, data reconciliation, finance administration, data entry, or related functions will be an advantage
- Comfortable handling large volumes of data with a high level of accuracy

- Finance, accounting, business administration, data administration, or operations support background
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to identify inconsistencies and follow through on corrective actions
- Fast learner with a positive and proactive attitude
