Job Descriptions
- Perform general diagnostic radiographic examinations and specialised imaging procedures such as Mammography, Ultrasound, and Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD), where applicable.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality care throughout imaging procedures while delivering excellent customer service.
- Adhere to radiation safety, infection prevention, and workplace safety standards, including the ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) principle.
- Operate, maintain, and ensure the proper care of diagnostic imaging equipment to support efficient service delivery.
- Support daily operations by maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised work environment.
- Assist in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure compliance with clinical and operational standards.
- Participate in departmental improvement projects, administrative duties, and other responsibilities assigned by the Reporting Officer.
- Maintain professional competency and obtain/maintain AHPC registration in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Degree in Diagnostic Radiography
- R1 license with Centre forRadiation Protection and Nuclear Sciences, National Environment Agency.
- Registered with AlliedHealth Professions Council.
- Knowledge of NGEMR, Epicusage and RISPACS would be an additional advantage.
