Senior/ Pharmacist (Office Hour/West)

Job Descriptions

• Dispense medications accurately and safely while ensuring compliance with clinical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
• Review and clarify prescriptions, identify and resolve medication-related issues, and provide evidence-based recommendations to prescribers.
• Counsel patients and caregivers on medication usage, potential side effects, drug interactions, storage, and self-care management.
• Deliver pharmaceutical care services, including chronic disease management, ambulatory care, and health promotion initiatives.
• Provide professional drug information and support to healthcare professionals, patients, and the community.
• Ensure high standards of patient care and customer service while supervising pharmacy operations.
• Manage pharmaceutical inventory to ensure adequate stock levels, proper storage, and compliance with controlled drug regulations.
• Oversee stock replenishment, expiry management, stock takes, cycle counts, and inventory audits.
• Monitor inventory KPIs, investigate cold chain incidents, and maintain medication quality and security.
• Mentor, coach, and supervise pharmacy technicians, assistants, and students.
• Conduct onboarding, training, and continuous education programmes to enhance team competency and professional development.
• Support daily pharmacy operations, including manpower scheduling, documentation, reporting, and workflow optimisation.
• Maintain pharmacy records, controlled drug registers, and ensure compliance with cash handling and operational procedures.
• Monitor retail operations, merchandising, and inventory performance while driving process improvements.
• Investigate and manage patient feedback, complaints, and dispensing incidents promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health (MOH) regulations, professional standards, and internal policies.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, audits, and departmental projects to enhance operational excellence.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the Reporting Officer.

Requirements:

• Degree in Pharmacy
• Registered with Singapore Pharmacy Council and Form A license with Health Sciences Authority
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in clinical setting would be preferred
