Machining Specialist (Manufacturing|Oil&Gas)

About our client: Our client is a leading global energy technology and manufacturing company serving the oil & gas industry.

About the role: We are looking for a Machining Specialist to perform automated and CNC machining activities in the manufacture of components and products.

• Operate and control CNC machining equipment and machine tools.
• Perform CNC programming and apply appropriate special tooling.
• Interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Perform basic maintenance of machine tools.
• Ensure machining activities meet safety, quality and production requirements.
• Maintain proper operational documentation and records.
• Work with robotic and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Monitor manufacturing performance and operational trends.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes.
• Comply with workplace Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.

About you:

• Diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in machining.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with CNC machine operation and programming.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer systems.
• Basic understanding of engineering mathematics.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Safety-conscious with a strong commitment to quality.
• Able to work independently under guidance and as part of a diverse team.
• Willing to support a continuous improvement and technology-driven manufacturing environment.
• Willing to work on rotating shifts
