We are seeking an experienced and passionate Director of Sales to join our team!

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing guest rooms, public areas, and other housekeeping operations while driving operational efficiency, team development, quality assurance, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Sales to lead the MICE sales function across our Singapore hotels and resorts. Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Commercial Sales (Singapore), you will drive strategic sales initiatives, lead a high-performing team, and maximize group revenue opportunities across key domestic and international markets.

• Lead and manage the MICE sales team, including Account Directors, Senior Sales Managers, Sales Managers, and Sales Coordinators.
• Develop and execute group sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets across rooms, F&B, and event spaces.
• Build and strengthen relationships with key clients, industry partners, tourism boards, and global sales offices.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive conversion of qualified leads across all market segments.
• Collaborate closely with Business Development, Revenue Management, Event Management, and hotel operations teams to optimize results.
• Monitor team performance, sales productivity, and conversion metrics while implementing action plans for continuous improvement.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, market planning, and sales strategy development.
• Lead, coach, develop, and inspire team members while fostering a high-performance culture.

What We're Looking For

You are a strategic sales leader with a strong track record in the hospitality or MICE industry and possess:

• Proven leadership experience managing high-performing sales teams.
• Extensive knowledge of MICE sales, business development, and account management.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse market trends and revenue opportunities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and sales planning.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships across diverse markets and cultures.
• Proficiency in CRM and sales systems such as Delphi.fdc and related sales technologies.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
