Civil Engineer (1-Year Contract | Office Hours)

We're looking for a Civil Engineer to oversee and deliver a range of building and infrastructure projects from initial planning through to completion. If you have experience in project management and engineering design, working knowledge of BIM, and familiarity with PSSCOC and public-sector projects, this could be a suitable opportunity for you.

📍 Nearest MRT: Labrador Park
🕘 Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 6:00pm / 9:00am - 6:30pm
💰 Salary: $4000 - $6000/Month (Depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage building and infrastructure projects from initial planning through completion, including project schedules, budgets and overall delivery.
  • Manage the tender process for consultancy and construction contracts, including preparation of technical specifications, tender evaluation and contract award.
  • Lead and coordinate consultants and contractors involved in engineering design, construction management, contract administration and site supervision.
  • Review engineering designs, cost estimates and tender documentation prepared by appointed consultants.
  • Manage projects involving new building developments, renovation of existing facilities, greening and solarization initiatives, and the development or upgrading of marine facilities.
  • Track project progress, budgets and expenditures to ensure works are delivered according to project requirements and timelines.
  • Prepare and present project progress updates, work plans and other relevant reports to management.
  • Address and resolve technical matters and project-related issues arising during building and infrastructure works.
  • Coordinate with relevant government agencies and stakeholders on project-related matters.
  • Explore & implement suitable technology solutions to improve project delivery and management.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering, Building Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Fresh graduates may apply.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management and engineering design for building construction and/or infrastructure projects would be an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and experience handling public-sector projects.
  • Knowledge of the Public Sector Standard Conditions of Contract (PSSCOC)for construction works.
