We are looking for an experienced and motivated Principal Manufacturing Engineer to drive manufacturing engineering activities across Engine Overhaul and Component Repair operations. ✈✈

Job Summary:
Location: East Area
Timing: Monday to Friday, Office Hours
Door to Door Transport Provided Islandwide
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental standards and support the Zero Harm programme.
Identify product safety risks and implement effective mitigation measures.
Drive a Right First Time, zero-defect culture and support quality investigations and NADCAP requirements.
Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to achieve Right First Time delivery, using SPS, DMAIC and Systems Engineering tools.
Resolve complex issues across engine build, balancing, machining, in-situ repair and component repair processes, including equipment and tooling.
Support productivity improvement and achieve cost targets, including reduction of Cost of Non-Quality (CONQ).
Deploy and maintain manufacturing standards while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Define manufacturing engineering requirements and make technical decisions within the assigned area.
Lead process improvement, innovation and best-practice initiatives to enhance manufacturing performance.
Support production readiness for new capabilities, develop data-driven process monitoring and maintain technical packages, tooling and manufacturing documentation.
Requirements:
Good knowledge of high-bypass gas turbine engines.
Good knowledge of material and component repair processes, including welding, machining, painting, and coating.
