About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Payroll Executive to support the accurate and timely processing of payroll operations. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, internal stakeholders, employees/contractor to ensure payroll compliance, accuracy, and excellent service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing
- Process weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payroll accurately and within stipulated timelines.
- Administer payroll transactions including new hires, employee transfers, salary adjustments, leave records, and employment cessations.
- Verify and process timesheets and attendance records.
- Ensure payroll data is accurately maintained within payroll systems.
Statutory Compliance
- Prepare and submit statutory contributions and claims, including CPF, NS claims, Government-Paid Leave claims, tax clearance submissions, and annual income tax reporting.
- Ensure payroll activities comply with relevant employment legislation, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Client Billing & Administration
- Prepare and process invoices, credit notes, and related payroll billing documentation.
- Liaise with internal departments and clients to resolve payroll and billing queries in a timely manner.
Payroll Support & Continuous Improvement
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll-related enquiries.
- Support payroll system implementation, enhancements, testing, and process improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll efficiency, accuracy, and service quality.
- Contribute to the development and documentation of payroll procedures and best practices.
Other Duties
- Support finance and payroll-related projects as assigned.
- Perform other duties reasonably assigned by management.
- WICA Insurance Management.
Requirements
- Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Prior experience in payroll processing, payroll administration, finance operations, or a related function is preferred.
- Familiarity with Singapore payroll regulations, CPF submissions, tax reporting, and employment-related compliance requirements is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience with payroll systems or HRIS platforms will be an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Adaptable to process changes is preferred.
