Job Summary

Function as a design engineer to prepare and maintain mechanical and electrical product drawings using CAD systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ANSI/Schlumberger standards while supporting manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute design engineering tasks for routine and correction projects to support product development and manufacturing
• Prepare original mechanical layouts of average complexity using CAD systems to produce clear and accurate designs
• Develop and maintain complex mechanical and electrical/electronic product and production drawings from layouts, sketches, or verbal instructions, adapting to project requirements and seniority level
• Ensure accuracy and quality of assigned design work, excluding design features managed by project engineers
• Apply ANSI/Schlumberger drafting methods, standards, and procedures to maintain consistency and compliance in all documentation
• Interpret Schlumberger manufacturing processes and techniques to align design outputs with production needs
• Demonstrate foundational knowledge of mechanical product lines and progressively deepen understanding of electrical and electronic product lines based on seniority
• Maintain and update project status reports to track progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders
