Junior Site Engineer

A site engineer oversees the technical, organizational, and supervisory aspects of construction projects to ensure they are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Core Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying: Marking the site, levelling the ground, and determining locations for installations using specialized tools.
• Technical guidance: Interpreting blueprints, checking technical designs, and resolving on-site issues.
• Supervision and coordination: Managing daily activities, inspecting work, and directing contractors or subcontractors.
• Safety and compliance: Enforcing workplace safety and health regulations and conducting routine gear and machinery checks.
• Quality and cost control: Inspecting building materials, tracking inventory, and maintaining project logs or reports.

Key Requirements

• Education: A diploma or bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Experience: Practical on-site construction experience or time served as an assistant engineer.
• Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, proficiency with surveying equipment, and clear communication skills.
