Job Summary

The Operations Support Staff at Metta Home Day Activity Centre assists in daily operations and client support to maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment for adults with intellectual disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with safe movement, personal hygiene, and toileting to support their daily living needs
• Clean and disinfect soiled areas and equipment promptly to maintain hygiene and safety standards
• Prepare and clear setup for centre activities and events to ensure smooth operations
• Perform housekeeping, simple maintenance, and facility cleaning to uphold a well-maintained environment
• Manage document filing, packing, shredding, and perform simple data entry to support administrative tasks
• Collaborate with centre staff to assist in operational and client support duties as needed

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess minimum Secondary/N/O Level education and/or relevant Disability Care certification
• Demonstrate comfort with hands-on tasks and working with adults with disabilities
• Maintain physical fitness and willingness to assist with client mobility and hygiene needs

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior experience in healthcare, social service, or disability care is an advantage but not required
