Dynatrace Implementation Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Dynatrace Implementation Consultant to deploy, configure, and optimise Dynatrace observability solutions within a banking environment. The role will work closely with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to enhance application performance monitoring, observability, and operational resilience across critical banking systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and administer Dynatrace SaaS/Managed environments.
• Deploy and manage Dynatrace OneAgent and ActiveGate across on-premises, virtualised, and cloud platforms.
• Configure monitoring for applications, APIs, databases, middleware, and infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, alerts, reports, management zones, SLOs, and service monitoring.
• Implement and manage Dynatrace capabilities including RUM, Synthetic Monitoring, DEM, Smartscape, Service Flow, and Davis AI.
• Monitor critical banking applications and establish end-to-end transaction tracing.
• Integrate Dynatrace with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Splunk, and Active Directory.
• Conduct performance analysis, root cause investigations, and provide optimisation recommendations.
• Support compliance with banking security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer and operational handover support.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 8 years of experience in APM, observability, or monitoring solutions.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience implementing and administering Dynatrace.
• Strong knowledge of Dynatrace OneAgent, ActiveGate, Davis AI, Smartscape, RUM, Synthetic Monitoring, Service Flow, and API integrations.
• Experience with Windows, Linux, VMware, IIS, Apache, Nginx, Java/.NET applications, and databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience integrating Dynatrace with ITSM and monitoring platforms.
• Experience in Banking or Financial Services environments is preferred.
• Understanding of banking applications, operational resilience, and regulatory requirements is an advantage.
• Experience monitoring cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, and microservices architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Dynatrace Associate or Professional certification is preferred.
• ITIL Foundation certification is an advantage.
