◆Title: Accounting & HR Manager | Japanese Speaking | Manufacturing

◆Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
• Manage timely and accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to local management and Japan HQ.
• Review financial policies and procedures and identify opportunities to improve processes, governance and internal controls.
• Monitor and forecast cash flows and support manufacturing cost-related matters with relevant process owners.
• Manage payroll, leave calculations, inventory stock counts, employee costing and fixed asset records using the INFOR system.
• Liaise with auditors, tax consultants and corporate secretarial service providers on company matters.
• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies and initiatives aligned with business needs.
• Manage recruitment, compensation and benefits administration, HR policies and employee-related matters.
• Handle employee relations and address workplace concerns in collaboration with management.
• Manage Singapore payroll, leave administration and HR information systems, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Oversee performance appraisal processes and support initiatives that promote a positive working environment.
• Manage work pass administration, including applications, renewals, cancellations and issuance.
• Coordinate with departments on hiring plans, resignations, employee confirmation and other HR matters.
• Manage statutory and government-related survey submissions, including EDB and A*STAR-related reporting.
• Support general administrative operations and undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned.

◆Requirements:

[Must Have]

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting and HR role.
• Proficiency in Japanese for communicating and liaising with Japan HQ.
• Sound knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and relevant finance and statutory requirements.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Singapore MOM regulations and HR best practices.
• Strong analytical skills with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with management and employees at different levels.
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in the West area.

[Good to Have]

• Experience using ERP systems, particularly INFOR.
• Chartered Accountant qualification.
