Assistant Director, Finance

Our client, a multi-concept retail and operational group is seeking to hire a senior finance leader reporting directly to top management and board stakeholders. This role oversees end-to-end financial stewardship, treasury management, internal controls and digital transformation - all structured to groom high-potential leadership talent for future C-suite succession.

• Lead monthly financial closures, management reporting and board updates while evaluating revenues, cost variances and operational KPIs to drive commercial growth.
• Direct internal controls, tax compliance (GST, Corporate Tax), statutory audits and risk mitigation frameworks to protect business margins and prevent operational leakage.
• Oversee cash flow forecasting, working capital, banking relationships and treasury management to ensure liquidity across all operating units.
• Drive finance automation, AI adoption and system integration (POS/ERP platforms) to optimize reporting workflows and financial data analytics.
• Partner with C-Suite, Heads of Department and key stakeholders to evaluate new business ventures, pricing strategies and profitability models.
• Build, mentor and scale high-performing finance teams while instilling a culture of financial discipline and operational efficiency across the organization.
  
  Requirements:

• Proven senior finance leadership experience managing end-to-end financial operations, cash flows and board-level reporting within multi-site, high-volume consumer operations (e.g: F&B to retail, hospitality and other consumer services).
• Possess strong capability in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), commercial modeling and driving cost-efficiency/profitability initiatives across complex operating environments.
• Demonstrated success in leading ERP/POS integration, digitalization of financial workflows and implementation of robust governance/internal control frameworks.
• Exceptional executive presence and business partnering capabilities to advise C-suite leadership, direct external advisors/banks and guide finance teams.
