Hi Personal Trainers! I'm Jon, the owner of Homeground Gym & PT @ 239 Bishan St. 22. We're looking to open in the 3rd week of September 2026.

I'm looking to work with fantastic personal trainers to set high standards for this new PT gym. I've built a team of 10 capable & responsible PTs at my Clementi branch, and I look forward to do the same in this new Bishan branch. I hope you're excited.

Despite the role being "freelance", most of my PTs get enough clients from me such that they can get an end-of-month remuneration that matches a full-time job outside. I don't restrict you from taking clients outside of my gym, and at the same time I aim to have you have sufficient clients to coach "full-time" here.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Be a competent and friendly personal trainer to our clients

- Constantly upgrade yourself as a personal trainer with our existing team

- Conduct 1-hr high-quality trials for potential PT members, helping them see the need for a PT to guide them in their fitness & personal growth journey

- Always put our clients' well-being first

Working Hours & Arrangements

- Be present only for trials & PT sessions

- Be either early or punctual

- Our marketing team may require you to take part in filming or content creation to help you build your own branding

- In the beginning we definitely don't have a big pool of clients for you to train, and we need to work well together to conduct high-quality trials for potential PT members so they can trust you enough to train them. ALWAYS seek to provide value for them — members or not

- I have a healthy track record of filling all PTs with 10-20 clients (at least in Clementi) within 2 months

Remuneration & Benefits

- Starting with $40/session for a client's 1st package; increase to $50/session for a client's 2nd package and onwards.

- Starting straight from $50/session if you bring in your own clients to our gym and paying our gym's PT package rates.

- Trial incentive of $50-$300 when a new client signs up for their 1st package here.

Additional Benefits:

- FREE gym membership for yourself and one next-of-kin at Homeground Gym & PT Bishan (and with limited access to other Homeground branches during your employment duration).

- Occasional BONUSES when the gym performs well.

- OPPORTUNITIES to cross-train or conduct workshops for additional income.

- INTRODUCTION TO FREELANCE GIGS at other Homeground Gym clubs (Clementi) if available.
