Murex Back Office System Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of business needs.
• Design and execute test cases for trade lifecycle events and accounting processes.
• Support SIT/UAT phases and assist in obtaining user sign-offs.
• Document functional flows, test results, and provide post-implementation support.
• Assistin analysing downstream systems and reporting interfaces.

Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 6–9 years of relevant experience, preferably in a financial institution
• You must have hands-on experience with Murex 3.1 Back Office including trade event processing and
• MxML workflows.
• You will be involved in requirement analysis, functional specification, and testcase preparation for Murex and its downstream interfaces.
• You are expected to support SIT/UAT phases, ensure proper documentation, and assist in transitioning solutions to production teams.
• You will work closely with developers and architects to ensure solutions meet business, regulatory, and system integration standards.
• You will support downstream data flows from Murex to data warehouses and regulatory reporting systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery offinancial data
• MurexModules: Back office, Trade Event Management, OSP, MxML
• TechnicalTools: SQL (data analysis), Excel
• Domain Expertise: Trade lifecycle, Confirmations & Payments, SWIFT, MX & MTmessages, CLS, regulatory reporting (preferred)
