Finance Executive - Maritime (Financial Control, Reporting, Compliance, AP)

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management and Reporting
Prepare regular financial reports for internal stakeholders and owners
Perform monthly consolidation of accounts and variance analysis
Prepare annual operational and project budgets
Monitor expenses and ensure accurate financial allocation
Process expense claims in accordance with company policies
Review and reconcile corporate credit-card expenditure
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
Accounts Payable and Payroll
Verify vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness and compliance before payment
Process vendor payments accurately and within the required timelines
Manage yacht-crew payroll and ensure timely and accurate salary processing
Support banking administration, including account setup and maintenance
Provide accounts-payable support to related entities when required
Owner and Administrative Support
Respond to owner queries and provide financial updates and reports
Maintain a high standard of confidentiality, record-keeping and documentation
Support general finance and administrative matters as required
Compliance and Systems
Support accounting, tax and other applicable regulatory filings
Assist with Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) questionnaires
Maintain accurate information within the yacht management system
Manage data relating to finance, crew payroll and inventory modules
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial and operational records
Operational and Inventory Support
Oversee inventory tracking and cost-control processes
Provide financial oversight for vessel provisioning, maintenance and projects
Work closely with operational teams on yacht-related procurement requirements
Support other finance functions when required to meet broader team objectives
Job Requirements
Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline with at least 5 years of relevant experience; or a relevant degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience
Relevant professional qualifications, such as CA, CPA or ACCA, or currently pursuing such qualifications, would be advantageous
Comfortable working with ambiguity and cross-jurisdictional structures
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and other relevant financial or business software
