Warehouse Assistant

About the Role

Our client is an established, Singapore-based logistics and freight forwarding company. Due to an increase in warehouse volume, they are looking for a new Warehouse Assistant role to strengthen its operations team. Our client is open to sponsoring Class 4 driving lessons for a suitable candidate who does not yet hold the licence.

• Operate a forklift to load, unload and move goods within the warehouse

• Support container stuffing and destuffing operations

• Assist with receiving, put-away, picking/packing and stock counts

• Carry out general warehouse housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe work area

• Assist drivers with loading/unloading and, where required, cover driving duties

• Follow all workplace safety procedures for manual handling and equipment operation

• Perform other operational duties as assigned by management

• Class 3 or Class 4 driving licence (Class 4 preferred); candidates without Class 4 but willing to obtain it may be considered, with lessons sponsored by the company

• Forklift licence

• Physically fit and able to carry out manual work, including lifting and container handling

• Reliable, hardworking, a team player, and willing to multi-task across warehouse and driving duties

• Prior experience in warehouse, logistics or delivery work is an advantage but not essential
