STATION SUPERVISOR (RAIL OPERATIONS)

Job Summary
Manages safe pedestrian track access and Engineering Consist/Passenger Vehicle movements within the station or depot's Defined Area, working as a cross-trained team with the Ground Shunter.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform duties at the temporary staging area, depot or mainline environment as assigned.
• Enforce rules and regulations under the Works Train Manual.
• Ensure safe access by work parties and safe movement of vehicles within the Defined Area.
• Issue, control and maintain Works Train signage and equipment.
• Assist the Works Train Controller in shunting of Works Trains, and set up protection (sector limit boards, flashing lights, point securing, etc.).
• Assist in on-the-job training of new Station Supervisors.
Requirements
• Minimum NTC 2/3, GCE O-Level or equivalent qualification.
• Preferably prior working experience in a railway environment or general construction safety.
• Able to read and write English; able to work any of the three rotating 8-hour shifts and regular overtime.
• Able to work independently, take charge of small work groups, and handle incidents/emergencies.
