SENIOR/LEAD TRAIN / LOCOMOTIVE OPERATOR

Job Summary

Leads a team of Train Operators and Shunters, overseeing the safe operation and movement of the Engineering Consist (EC) and mentoring new operators.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and take charge of a team of Works Train Operators and Shunters.

• Oversee safe movement of the EC in accordance with the Works Train Manual.

• Assist in on-the-job training and mentoring of new Operators.

• Handle operational incidents and implement recovery measures.

Requirements

• Diploma in an engineering discipline or GCE A-Level, with minimum 5 years' relevant working experience (or equivalent), subject to Officer-in-charge's acceptance.

• Able to work independently and perform overtime on a regular basis.
