About this job
Responsibilities
- Design software services for robot assignment, task dispatch and mission execution.
- Develop scheduling and robot-selection algorithms for changing operational priorities.
- Build traffic-management, resource-locking and deadlock-prevention capabilities.
- Implement charging coordination and robot-availability management.
- Integrate fleet services with warehouse systems and third-party robot platforms.
- Develop reliable APIs and messaging interfaces for distributed system communication.
- Build monitoring, state-management and diagnostic capabilities.
- Participate in simulation, system testing, commissioning, deployment and performance optimisation.
Requirements
- Required: Strong backend software engineering experience using Python, C++, Java, Go or comparable technologies.
- Required: Sound knowledge of algorithms, data structures, concurrency, networking and object-oriented design.
- Required: Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, MQTT, TCP/IP and asynchronous messaging behaviour.
- Required: Experience in fleet management, robotics, warehouse automation or distributed software systems.
