About this job
Responsibilities
- Install automation hardware, sensors, controllers and safety equipment on industrial mobile equipment.
- Complete electrical wiring, mechanical assembly and system integration work.
- Test, calibrate and commission AGV and AMR systems.
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical and control-system faults.
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to support equipment reliability.
- Respond to breakdowns and restore equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow applicable safety procedures during installation, testing and servicing.
- Maintain accurate records of installation, testing, repair and maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Required: Technical diploma or equivalent relevant hands-on experience.
- Required: Ability to understand technical drawings, manuals and installation instructions.
- Required: Practical electrical and mechanical knowledge with sound troubleshooting skills.
- Preferred: Experience with AGVs, AMRs, material-handling equipment or very-narrow-aisle machinery.
