Content Classification Specialist | Govt | Contract (Arts & Media)

Work location: Central
Working hours: Monday to Friday office hours
Salary: up to $3450 per month

12 months contract

Job Scope:

• Review and assess arts and entertainment content against established classification guidelines and standards.
• Evaluate content objectively and determine appropriate classification outcomes.
• Prepare clear, concise, and well-supported classification assessments and recommendations.
• Ensure consistency and accuracy in applying classification criteria.
• Monitor and manage multiple assessment cases while meeting deadlines and service standards.
• Contribute insights on emerging media trends and content-related issues where relevant.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to support operational objectives.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mass Communications, Media Studies, Humanities, or a related discipline.
• Relevant work experience, preferably in media, content review, content moderation, communications, policy, regulatory, or related fields.
• Strong interest in media, entertainment, digital content, and emerging technology trends.
• Good understanding of social, cultural, and public sensitivities, with the ability to assess content objectively and professionally.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, writing, and communication skills.
• Meticulous, resourceful, and able to exercise sound judgement in content evaluation.
• Self-motivated team player who can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and perform effectively under tight timelines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
