About the Role

The Inventory Management Executive is responsible for managing, tracking, and controlling inventory levels within DKSH's Logistics and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) operations. This role ensures inventory accuracy, availability, and cost efficiency through close coordination with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize discrepancies.

What You Will Deliver

  • Lead and support a small team comprising one supervisor and four staff members to ensure effective day-to-day inventory operations
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records across systems and physical stock at scale
  • Ensure timely updating of inventory movements including receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments
  • Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and assist with physical inventory audits to uphold inventory integrity
  • Identify and investigate inventory variances, shortages, or excess stock and report findings to management
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure proper storage and handling of materials
  • Support procurement and planning teams by providing timely and accurate inventory status updates
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
  • Prepare inventory reports and dashboards to support management review and informed decision-making
  • Drive continuous improvements in inventory processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required

What You Bring

  • Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain operations
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and stock management
  • Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) systems, particularly SAP
  • Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail with strong documentation capabilities
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in cycle counting and inventory audits is an advantage
  • Knowledge of First In, First Out (FIFO), First Expired, First Out (FEFO), and inventory valuation methods is an advantage
