Project Engineer/Coordinator

Job Summary

Plan and oversee daily construction activities to ensure project progress, safety, and quality goals are met. Manage workers, subcontractors, and resources to complete projects within budget and timeframe while coordinating with technical teams to resolve onsite issues.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee daily construction activities on site to achieve project progress, safety, and quality targets
• Ensure all construction work complies with specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations
• Manage and supervise direct workers and subcontractors to complete projects within budget and scheduled timeframe
• Develop workforce plans for in-house workers to optimize labor allocation and productivity
• Coordinate with consultants, Resident Engineers/Resident Technical Officers (RE/RTO), and in-house technical teams to resolve onsite discrepancies promptly
• Identify and anticipate construction challenges, safety risks, and technical issues to implement preventive measures
• Participate in subcontractor and client progress meetings to communicate project status and address concerns
• Plan and manage site materials and equipment delivery and storage to ensure efficient and economical use
• Apply knowledge and experience in condominium and deep basement construction to support project execution
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Project Manager and Directors to support project objectives
