Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects from kick-off to handover, including installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment/systems.
  • Prepare project schedules, resource plans, and progress reports; track milestones against timelines and budget.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal design/procurement teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Conduct site surveys, feasibility assessments, and technical risk evaluations.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant Singapore safety standards (WSH regulations), codes of practice, and client specifications.
  • Prepare technical documentation, as-built drawings, and project handover reports.
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support, troubleshooting, and repair services for installed equipment/systems.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to service schedules/contracts.
  • Diagnose faults, recommend corrective actions, and carry out repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Maintain service records, spare parts inventory, and equipment history logs.
  • Respond to client service requests and emergency breakdown calls within agreed SLAs.
  • Provide technical training/guidance to clients and junior engineers/technicians on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Support the sales/business development team with technical input for proposals, quotations, and client presentations.
  • Identify opportunities for service contract renewals, upgrades, or spare parts sales during site visits.
  • Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and PPE; uphold safety and quality standards on all job sites.
  • Escalate unresolved technical issues to senior engineers or OEM/principal suppliers as needed.

Key Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in project execution, field service, or technical support within the engineering/industrial sector.
  • Experience with installation, commissioning, or maintenance of industrial equipment, HVAC, power systems, automation, or process equipment (adjust based on company's product line).
  • Prior experience working directly with clients on-site is preferred.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
  • Working knowledge of relevant Singapore standards/regulations (WSH Act, SS/CP codes, as applicable).
  • Proficiency in MS Office/MS Project; familiarity with CAD software is a plus.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects/service calls, and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites across Singapore (own transport/valid driving license is an advantage).
  • Willingness to be on standby/on-call for emergency service support, as required.

Certifications (Preferred, not mandatory)

  • WSQ certifications, WSH Coordinator/Officer certification.
  • Relevant OEM/product certifications (e.g., specific equipment brands, PLC/automation systems).
