Job Summary

The Kindergarten Care Hygiene Officer ensures a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in the centre to support the health and well-being of children and staff, working closely with the Kindergarten Care team to meet cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in classrooms, activity areas, pantry, toilets, and common areas to support a safe learning environment
• Assist in preparing, serving, and cleaning meals and snacks while following food hygiene and safety practices
• Dispose of waste properly and keep rubbish collection areas clean and organised
• Follow workplace safety, health, and organisational policies and procedures consistently
• Collaborate with team members to support daily centre operations positively
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Kcare Centre Supervisor or Management as needed

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic cleaning methods, sanitation practices, and workplace safety procedures
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high cleanliness and organisation standards
• Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties safely and effectively
• Effective teamwork and communication skills
• Enjoys working in a child-friendly environment and contributes positively to the centre’s daily operations
