Job Summary

The Student Care Hygiene Officer ensures a clean, safe, and hygienic environment in the Student Care Centre, supporting the health and well-being of students and staff while maintaining food hygiene and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in classrooms, activity areas, pantry, and common areas to support a safe learning environment
• Prepare, serve, and clean up meals and snacks following food hygiene and safety protocols
• Dispose of waste properly and keep rubbish collection areas clean and organised
• Follow workplace safety, health, and organisational policies consistently
• Collaborate with the Student Care Centre team to support daily centre operations
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Centre Head or Management

Requirements

• Knowledge of basic cleaning methods, sanitation practices, and workplace safety procedures
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
• Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties safely
• Effective teamwork and communication skills to contribute positively in a child-friendly environment
