Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit-Out & Furniture Projects

• Position: Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit-Out & Furniture Projects

• Location: Changi

• Working hours: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm)

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4,500 Monthly Basic Salary + Performance Bonus + Health & Wellness Benefits

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Furniture wholesaler

Main Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, valuations and final accounts for projects.

• Analyse and interpret interior design, construction and detailed technical drawings and specifications.

• Prepare quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities based on drawings and project requirements.

• Source and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.

• Negotiate commercial terms and manage subcontractor and supplier contracts.

• Monitor and control project costs to ensure projects remain within approved budgets.

• Prepare and assess variation orders, progress claims and cost adjustments where required.

• Provide cost and commercial advice to Project Managers and other stakeholders.

• Identify and mitigate potential commercial and cost-related risks.

• Liaise with suppliers, engineers and project teams to resolve commercial, technical and quality-related issues.

• Support tender costing and final-account reconciliation where required.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in interior fit-out, furniture, renovation or related projects.

• Able to read and interpret construction, interior and detailed technical drawings.

• Able to perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities from drawings and specifications.

• Experience evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations.

• Familiar with project costing, variations, progress claims and final accounts.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
